Eyes
You, indeed are some kind of wonderful
Closed in on yourself, your eyes unfold you
They make the loveliest pictures
Scenes of sunshine, oceans and cherries
Color your eyes the warmest black
I want to kiss your eyes
And tell them how fascinated I am
With the pictures they make
It comes in bursts
I have a million things to say
My mouth cannot bottle
The intensity of my words
There is something about you that entraps me
Something I can never get enough of
Your creator must have used purple moon threads
To stitch your eyes to the softest silver lining
Your cheeks swell with the deepest auburn
Your mane crowns the purest intellect
That fills every bit of itself with its own potency
How I'd want to discover
A piece of myself in your thick essence
What a beautiful thing it is
To witness the marriage of divinity and humanity
In a single smile.
