Who
We Are
|
|
Julia
Chan is not your average store person. By day she
keeps an eye on her family's kiosk in uptown Melbourne.
By night she watches over some of the world's most
sophisticated servers. And on the weekend... well... she
does nothing at all. |
|
Robyn
Soto works as a risk consultant in a
"head-hunting" agency somewhere in New York.
She religiously eats grilled pineapple rings and drinks
Bloody Mary every morning rather than coffee. She hates
"unusual" mobile phone ring tones. |
|
Claire
de Leon (co-editor) She's currently living in
England and she works as a pharmaceutical sales manager.
She's also into rock climbing and abseiling. She's
hoping that one day she could discard her pager without
any guilt. |
|
Marvin
Morales (editor) He lives in
Sydney and he works as a chef. On his spare time he
designs websites for his friends and he watches foreign
films. |

Contributors
For This Issue
|
|
Christine
Hsu is the bubbly and ever cool person
behind HeyChristine.com
and is one of the prime movers of Oriented.org.
She appears in this issue's cover and will be noted as
an exceptional contributor to ThoseBrownEyes. |
|
Ciara
Mia Marasigan is this issue's featured poet. She
describes herself as "the girl with an oily face,
the girl who has this inexorable love for life (it's
pretty obvious), the girl who takes the longest time to
decide what she really wants to buy..." |
|
Jacqi
Matreja is a chef from
Singapore who has worked in cities such as Sydney,
Auckland and Hong Kong. Having an Indian father and a
Chinese mother exposed her to two very rich
cultures. |
