5.
What are you really passionate about?
Being part of, and contributing to, the development of the
Greater
China region. I am also very focused on maintaining
balance in my life (career, social, personal, etc.) and in being healthy
(mentally, physically, spiritually), although I haven't been to the gym
as of late! Terrible!
6. How do you see yourself right now?
Active, optimistic, driven, spunky, sarcastic, professional, neurotic,
demanding, a little quirky sometimes, funny on occasion, and
very single.
7. How do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Active, optimistic, driven, spunky, sarcastic, professional,
neurotic, demanding, a little quirky sometimes, funny on occasion, and
very married.
8. What is your Philosophy in life? And why?
"Try it. See what happens."
I very rarely say to myself, "I can't do it", unless
I've given it my
best shot and know for sure that it just ain't gonna happen.
Some say that I'm a compulsive "risk taker", but the way I
see it is that I owe it to myself to try everything at least once and to have as
much fun as possible, as long as it does not bring harm to myself or to
others.
Being true to myself -- having personal integrity and being
consistent in my actions -- is key.
9. What inspires you? And why?
Seeing other people contributing their professional skills and
talents to making a positive impact in their surrounding community,
either on the job or through community service or both. Elevating
public standards through personal action -- now that's inspiring.
There is enough hurt and damage happening around the world as
we speak. To sit back and do nothing when we CAN do something is
making the conscious decision NOT to help -- not to take responsibility
for areas in which we are, in fact, accountable. In my mind, even
if we are to affect just one young person's way of thinking, it is worth
the while.
10.
What is your greatest achievement so far?
Coming to terms with my life in Taiwan. All six years of
it.
