Welcome to v.01.03!!!
Welcome to v.01.03 and to ThoseBrownEyes' new lay out design. We're trying out this new format without the use of frames. Thanks also for giving us a few extra days to implement the changes. We now plan to release every issue between the 1st and the 5th of every month. Also, there are a few new faces aboard. They will surely make their presence felt. Thank you for visiting!

On The Cover

We talk to Christine Hsu of HeyChristine.com and Oriented.org. We ask her the usual questions... but expect nothing out of the ordinary with her answers.

Poet and Poetry

Ciara Mia Marasigan's Poetry is simply divine. Her chosen pieces emulate love which was gained and lost. Immerse yourself into this young poet's art.

Cuisine

It's summer time for most of the world and chef Jacqi Matreja is sharing her favorite salad recipes. No time for roasts and puddings... only the lightest will do.

The Book Club

What's your favorite book? Is it good? Tell us about it! - This month we're featuring Hong Ying's Daughter of the River. See what The Book Club has to say about it.

Julia's Corner

The soft spoken Julia joins us and talks about her theories on how the Cat and Mouse chase between the Mainland and Taiwan would end. What's your theory?

Apotheosis Anyone?

Are Asian Girls Easy? Some people think so... and Robyn's not too happy about it. She writes about this irritatingly degrading form of discrimination.

Co-Editor's Crap

Claire speaks out about her doubts with the whole concept of online magazines, particularly those that represent minorities. Does ThoseBrownEyes serve its purpose?

We dug out some of the best loved online journals. Some funny, some silly, some we could possibly live without, and some that are simply cool.
